NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Plan Commission of the Town of Prairie Lake will hold a meeting on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at 6 p.m. at the Meeting Room of the Municipal Building at 796 21st Street. Agenda items will include a presentation from personnel of Barron County Land Use Department on the change to Barron County Land Use Ordinances as pertains to agricultural zoning and ag covenant usage; a request for a special exception by Amos Yoder to install a wood scrap grinder outside of a current building at 2153 8th Avenue, Town of Prairie Lake, and to extend operating hours to 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday; to forward the Subdivision/Land Division Ordinance as revised to the Town Board; to discuss revisions to the Mobile Home Ordinance and forward it to the Town Board if completed; any other business as may properly come before the body. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the regular meeting of the Town Board of the TOWN OF PRAIRIE LAKE will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 after the hearing on the Subdivision/Land Division Ordinance at 7 p.m., at the same location. The agenda for the meeting will include: reports from Treasurer, Chairman and Clerk; approve minutes of February meeting and place Plan Commission minutes and building inspector report on file; hear presentation by Tom Jenkins, Rural Insurance agent; hear special exception request forwarded from Plan Commission; report on road work; approve Cemetery Ordinance as revised; approve Subdivision/Land Division Ordinance; reminder of Spring Election on April 4; approve payment of accounts and any other matters that may lawfully come before the meeting.
