Employee: Town of Prairie Lake Clerk, Part-time position (approximately 20 hours/week)
Education: Minimum of an associate degree or equivalent combination of formal education and/or experience.
Skills: Proficient in Word, Excel and Quickbooks with general ledger, payroll, accounts payable and financial report writing skills; strong analytical and problem solving skills; superior verbal/written skills and presentation skills; attention to detail; proficient in use of internet, social media and website management
Required: Ability to be bonded; transportation – clerk will drop off mail at post office, deliver or pick up required documents or supplies from government offices or places of business.
Salary: Commensurate with education/experience, range $20 – $25 hour.

The Town of Prairie Lake is holding a public meeting at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018, on the topic of Tornado Debris. This public meeting is to be held at the Prairie Lake Town Hall located at 796 21st Street in the Town of Prairie Lake.

The featured speaker for this event is Ron Weber, Forest Ranger from the Ladysmith office. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss options available for residents with tornado debris that remains on their property. Please attend to learn about routine burn permits and special burn permits for tornado debris.
